We are glad to see you and your parents. Today we’re going to talk about school.
This year we’ll celebrate 30 th anniversary of Belovskaya secondary school.
At the party you will try to guess riddles, sing songs and take part in competitions.
I hope that you are all good friends and like to be together.
P1: I go to the local school. My school days are very happy .The teaching is very good and there are lots of activities. We join sports, art and computer clubs .The pupils of our school take part in different competitions and concerts.

Pupil 8: I live in Belovskoye. I go to school. My school is a two-storeyed building. It was built in 1977.
On the ground floor there are classrooms for the primary-school pupils, workshop, gymnasium, concert hall, dining-room.
On the first floor there are many classrooms for Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, English, Literature and Russian.
The classrooms are light and spacious. There are large windows in each classroom with flower pots on the windows sills. Each room has teacher’s table, pupils’ desks, blackboard, tables and charts on the walls, maps and portraits.
Our classroom is on the first floor. It’s windows face the school yard. Our form mistress is a teacher of English language L.N.Kozlova. We respect her very much, she is kind and knowledgeable teacher.
When I think about my school I remember my teacher, school-mates who will be always with me. We are so thankful to our teachers for what they have done for us.

Pupil 9: I’m a pupil of the 7th form. I study at Belovskaya secondary school. I would like to tell you about our school life.
I go to school 6 days a week. Our classes start at 8:30 am and last till 3 o’clock p.m. So we have 5 or 6 lessons a day. We study many different subjects: Russian, English, Literature, Geography, Physics, Biology, Maths, programming and computer, History and other subjects. The school year is divided into four terms, called guarters. It begins on the 1st of September known as a Day of knowledge and finishes in May.
We organize concerts, parties when we celebrate our holidays. Pupils of our school sing songs and dance modern and folk dances and perform some plays there.

There would be at least 12 computers in our English classroom.
The hall would be 30 metres long and 20 metres wide. The school meals would have different food every day.
Teacher: Children, you say that to study at school is a difficult thing. I agree with you.
