Цели урока:

Практическая:

- введение и тренировка новой лексики (названия животных),

- введение и активизация в речи порядковых числительных от 1 до 12,

- формирование грамматических навыков.

Общеобразовательная: - развитие общего кругозора.

Развивающая:

- развитие грамматических навыков образования порядковых числительных,

- развитие навыков монологической речи,

- развитие памяти, мышления, воображения и внимания.

Воспитательная:

- воспитание уважения к стране изучаемого языка,

- воспитание культуры общения.

Языковой и речевой материал:

Новый: лексические единицы: elephant, zebra, lion, crocodile, snake, tiger, fox, bear, wolf, eagle, penguin, owl; порядковые числительные.

Для повторения: количественные числительные.

Оборудование: доска, мультимедийный проектор, ноутбук, диск, учебник, рабочая тетрадь, книга для учителя, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

1. Introduction. (Приветствие 2 мин.)

Teacher: Good morning to you,

Good morning to you,

Good morning, dear children,

Good morning to you!

Students: Good morning to you,

Good morning to you,

Good morning, dear teacher,

Good morning to you!

T.: Nice to meet you!

St.: Nice to meet you, too!

T.: Take your seats, please.

Now, tell me who is on duty today?

St.: I’m on duty today.

T.: Who is absent today?

St.: All are present.

2. Information about the theme of the lesson. (Сообщение темы урока 1 мин.)

T.: The theme of our lesson is “Pets and other animal”, and we are going to speak about your pets and try to describe your favourite animal.

3. Phonetic training. (Фонетическая зарядка 3 мин.)

T.: Pupils let’s repeat sounds before speaking. (Slide №2)

We are going to repeat these sounds: [s], [d], [t], [f], [v], [e], [ei], [a:], [ai].

(The teacher pronounces each sound three times. The students repeat).

T.: Now look at the screen; you can see some words with our sounds here. Try to read them correctly: for, no, five, wet, pet, arm, ham, pale, bed, red, fine, my. (Slide №3)

(Each pupil read the words three times.)

4. Speaking training. (Речевая зарядка 3 мин.).

T.: I wonder, pupils, who can count?

Please, count from 1 to 12. Then count from 12 to 1. Let’s count all together, and then each pupil will count.

(Each pupil counts.)

5. Checking the homework. (Проверка домашнего задания 3 мин.)

The teacher asks the students to pass their copy-books with their written home task. Then students retell the poems, which they’ve learnt at home.

6. Group work. (Работа в группах 5 мин.)

T.: Let’s count!

Please, count from 1 to 10, from 11 to 20.

Say what number is between 10 and 12; 7 and 9; 1 and 3; 6 and 8; 2 and 4; 9 and 11; 3 and 5; 8 and 10; 4 and 6; 5 and 7.

For example: 11 is between 10 and 12.

(The students do this task one by one).

T.: Say what number comes before: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

For example: 11 comes before 12.

(The students do this task one by one.)

T.: Say what number comes after:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.

For example: 11 comes after 10.

(The students do this task one by one.)

7. Physical minute. (Физкультминутка 2 мин.)

A teacher throws a ball to one pupil and names an action “to dance”, the other students do the action, and then the first student throws the ball to another one and name the next action.

8. Building of ordinal numerals. (Образование порядковых числительных 4 мин.)

T.: I would like to tell you an interesting story about a beautiful flower. Look at the screen? You can see the flower here. (Slides №4, 5)

A beautiful flower grows in a wonderful valley of knowledge.

The magic flower has many petals (лепестки). Each petal is a numeral.

Every summer a small bee flies to count the petals. The bee’s name is “TH”.

When the bee counts them, they sound like: the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, the eight, the ninth, the tenth, the eleventh, the twelfth.

But there are some numerals, which sound differently: the first, the second, the third.

(The students read the numerals after the teacher, and then they read one by one).

9. Introduction of the new words. (Введение новой лексики 4 мин.)

T.: We are going to study some new words. Look at the screen there are some pictures of animals and their titles. (Slide №5)

First of all repeat the names of animals after me. Then one by one read them.

Now you should find the right title to the picture.

Elephant

Zebra

Lion

Crocodile

Snake

Tiger

Fox

Bear

Wolf

Eagle

Penguin

Owl

St. 1: This is a wolf.

St. 2: This is an owl.

T.: Now let’s do ex. 1, p106. You see the animals running a race. Say which is the first (the second…).

St. 1: The giraffe is the first.

St. 2: The elephant is the second.

10. Reading. (Чтение текста 5 мин.)

T.: Now, let’s read. Ex.7, p.108. There is an interesting text. We are going to read and to translate it. Then we’ll answer the questions.

(The students answer the questions). (Slide №6)

11. Speaking. (Составление монологических высказываний мин 7 мин.)

T.: The text was about a boy and his pet, a parrot.

You can see some pictures on the screen. (Slide №7)

These are children and their pets. The pets are different: a tortoise, a cat, a parrot, a hamster and a dog.

You should choose one of these photoes and describe it.

For example: This is Ben. He is seven. He has got a pet. It is a dog. His dog’s name is Rex. Rex is black and white. Ben likes to play and to walk with his dog. (Slide №8)

(Students make their stories).

12. Repetition of the new information. (Повторение нового языкового материала 2 мин.)

T.: At the end of our lesson I would like you to repeat ordinal numerals one more time. Look at the screen and name the ordinal number of children. (Slides №10, 11)

13. Results of the lesson. (Подведение итогов урока 2 мин.)

The teacher puts down marks to children and explain them.

14. Home task. (Домашнее задание 2 мин.)

T.: Open your diaries and write down your home task. Take a photo of you and your pet. Write down 7 sentences and learn them by heart.
