Цели урока:

  • Закрепление лексики по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона".
  • Обобщение материала по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона".
  • Совершенствование навыков чтения, монологической речи и диалогической речи по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона".

Оборудование урока – учебник, компьютер, мультимедийные упражнения, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока:

1. Начало урока. Организационный момент. Беседа о погоде. Знакомство с темой урока.

T:  Hello, boys and girls! Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson.

P: “Answering” (Hello, teacher.)

T: What date is it today?

P: “Answering” (Today is the ...)

T: What day is it today?

P: “Answering” (It's ...)

T: What is the weather like today?

P: “Answering” (It's ...)

T: Thank you for your answers. Let’s begin our lesson. The theme of our lesson is “The sights of London” and the aim of our lesson is to generalize our knowledge on this question. So today, we shall do many different exercises

2. Выполнение упражнений по теме “Достопримечательности Лондона”.

Задание 1. Послушайте рассказ “Парламент” и вставьте слова в текст

T: And now look at these pictures and guess what sights of London we are going to start our lesson with.

T: Right you are. Now it is time for exercises. We shall start our lesson with listening. Listen to a story “The Houses of Parliament” for the first time and try to understand it.

Please, work in groups and do it in the written form. As soon as you are through with the task raise your hand and say “We have done it”.

T: I see all the groups have done the task. So let us check it. We shall start with the group who did the task first. Correct answers will be given on the blackboard. You may follow them.
