Игровые моменты на уроках английского языка помогают развивать познавательную активность учащихся, повышают интерес к предмету, вносит разнообразие и эмоциональную окраску в учебную работу на уроке, снимает утомление учащихся, которое может возникнуть при насыщенности урока. Кроме того игры развивают внимание, воображение, чувство коллективизма и взаимопомощи.

Задачи:

1. Активизировать в употребление модального глагола can в речи учащихся.

2. Тренировать устной речи по теме: “Животные”.

3. Практиковать учащихся в аудировании и чтении.

4. Формировать навыки восприятия и понимания связной речи на слух.

5. Актуализировать любовь к живой природе.

6. Повторить тему: “Давайте познакомимся”.

Оборудование: маски, картинки с изображением животных, письмо Незнайки, волшебный текст.

Ход урока

Teacher: Dear children! Today we are going to have an unusual lesson. We are going to visit “the magic animals’ Kingdom”. We shall meet unusual people there. In the Kingdom we’ll meet some difficulties, while going there, and we must be ready to attempt the difficulties.

Let’s divide into two groups: “Greens” and “Reds”. Alina will be the captain of “Reads”. Now let’s start our traveling. Good luck! Let’s go, oh, stop, here is the first difficulty. In front of us the gate in the Kingdom, but it’s close we must guess which colour of key can open the knock.

Pupil 1: Is it blue?

Teacher: Try to open. Is it blue?

Pupil 2: Is it green?

Teacher: Try to open the knock. Can you?

Pupil 2: No, I can’t. It isn’t green.

Pupil n: Is it grey?

Teacher: May be it’s grey, try to open the knock.

Pupiln: Yes, it is grey.

Teacher: Yes, you are right. It is grey. We have opened the gate, but now, we must get the Kingdom. We can get their if we tell about ourselves.

Pupil 3: My name is Saibat . I’m 11. I’m from America. I can read and write English.

Teacher: Well, Saibat take your ticket and wait your friends. Now, who is next?

Pupil 4: My name is Ruslan. I’m 10. I’m from Russia. I can jump and swim.

I like to play tag and hide-and- seek.

Pupil n: My name is Zamina. I’m 10. I like English. I can speak and read English. I can run but I can’t swim.

Teacher: You are welldone children. So, we’ve got tickets and now we can come in the Kingdom. Oh, look here what is this in the grass?

The Magician: Hello, boys and girls! My name is molly. My first task will be.Mmm…, what do I want? Oh, I what the captains to read the text from my magic book. The captains, please, come here. What is your name?

The captain 1: My name is Zalbeg.

The Magician: Well, and what is your name?

The captain 2: My name is Alina.

The Cat: Mouse, Mouse, come here! Help us, please!

The Mouse: All right, cat. I’m coming.

The Turnip (standing up): Here I am!
