З. “Enjoy English-1”; костюмы действующих лиц сказок “The turnip” (“Репка”), “The house in the wood” (“Теремок”); 26 медальонов с обозначением каждой из 26-ти букв английского алфавита; связка разноцветных воздушных шаров; булавка; карточки с цифрами; рисунки флагов Англии, Америки, Австралии и Канады; рисунки кошки, слона, петуха, лисы.
Оформление кабинета (или зала): На доске вывешен плакат с алфавитом, написано название праздника (“The ABC-party”), вывешены флаги англоговорящих стран (Англия, Америка, Австралия, Канада) и рядом на английском языке написаны мелом названия стран. В углу доски крепится связка воздушных шаров. При желании можно оформить стены рисунками животных или букв английского алфавита, выполненными детьми. В кабинете стулья расставлены таким образом, что первые ряды отведены для участников праздника.
Ход праздника
Ведущий: Good morning, children! Let’s begin our ABC-party. There are 26 letters. Letters, come here!
I. Представление букв (26 ребят, у каждого из которых на шее есть медальон с обозначением его буквы, по-одному выходят на сцену).
A: A is for apples and apple-trees,
You can see apple on apple-trees.B: B is for books and for bookcase.
I have many books in my bookcase.C: C is for cat. My cat is grey,
And with me it likes to play.D: D is for dog and for doggy.
I have a dog, not a doggy.E: E is for eight and for eleven.

G is for girl and also for a garden.H: How many hands has a boy, say?

Ведущий: Thank you. Now sit down, please. (Ученики рассаживаются на впереди стоящие стулья <Рисунок 2>.). Sometimes our pupils learn by the heart their favourite poems. Which of you want to recite it?
III. Стихотворения (на сцену выходят два ученика).

IV. Физкультминутка. Ученики (стоя) хором рассказывают стихотворения, параллельно выполняя соответствующие движения.

Ведущий: Everybody has their favourite fairy-tales. And our pupils prepared them for us.
V. Сценки.
Ученики показывают сценки “The turnip”, “The house in the wood” <Приложение 1>. Заранее готовятся костюмы действующих лиц.
Ведущий: Do you know the colors?
VI. Конкурс “Цвета”.
У доски в одной связке висят разноцветные воздушные шарики. Детям предлагается вспомнить названия цветов по-английски. Тот, кто назвал цвет правильно, выходит к доске и с помощью английской булавки “лопает” шарик названного цвета <Рисунок 3>.
VII. Конкурс “Флаги и страны”.
На доске вывешены флаги и написаны названия англоговорящих стран (England, America, Australia, Canada). Учитель с помощью детей переводит названия стран на русский язык, а затем предлагает им выйти к доске и с помощью мела соединить флаг и название страны.
Ведущий: If you can count, let’s count from 1 to 12.
VIII. Счет.
Сначала ученики хором считают от 1 до 12. Затем учитель показывает цифры на карточках вразброс.
Ведущий: That’s great! And now I want you to ask the riddles. Please, don’t talk.
IX. Конкурс “Загадки”.
Учитель заранее готовит красочные рисунки соответствующих животных.
