Цели:

  • изучение достопримечательностей Лондона для расширения кругозора учащихся и навыков устной речи,
  • проведение урока-экскурсии,
  • приобретение навыков культуры поведения в стандартных и нестандартных ситуациях.

Задачи:

  • познавательный аспект: знакомство с произведениями искусства для развития познавательного интереса ,
  • учебный аспект: развитие навыков монологической и диалогической речи, навыков аудирования, закрепление модального глагола should .
  • развивающий аспект: развитие способности к языковой догадке, коммуникабельности, умений осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия;
  • воспитательный аспект: развитие эстетического вкуса, культуры поведения учащихся, формирование способности к сотрудничеству при работе в парах.

Методы: словесный, наглядно-иллюстративный, частично-поисковый.

Формы организации учебной деятельности: коллективная ролевая игра, работа в парах.

Оборудование:

  • мультимедийный комплекс с CD диском,
  • иллюстрации,
  • раздаточный материал (карточки-задания),
  • магнитофон.

Ход урока

I. Организационный этап

Приветствие учителя:

Teacher (T): Good morning, children.

Let start our lesson.

II. Сообщение темы и цели урока

Today we have unusual lesson. The subject of our lesson is “Trip to London” We will have the excursion to London.

You are welcome to this beautiful, wonderful city. You will get some interesting information.

III. Знакомство с новой темой

1)(T) -At the beginning of our lesson I want to offer you to look at the photos of London. W e are tourist and we want to see the sights of London. (просмотр слайдов о Лондоне при помощи диапроектора) Приложение 1

4) (T) – Now, children, I want to introduce our guide in London. Her name is Mary Burton. Miss Burton will tell us about London. (монологическая речь ученицы-гида)

London, the capital of Great Britain, is a big city. There are many places of interest in London. Westminster Abbey is one of them. It was founded in 1050 and it is situated in the centre of London now. Many great Englishmen were buried in the Abbey: Newton, Darwin and others. There are many nice squares in London. Trafalgar Square is one of them and you can see a statue of Lord Nelson in the middle of this square. There are many museums, libraries, galleries in London. The Tate Gallery is a well known gallery in the world. Henry Tate was a founder of it. He was a sugar manufacturer and was fond of paintings, and had collection many pictures. The British Museum is a very interesting place. It was founded in 1753. The library of this museum has a lot of books. It is necessary to visit the Tower of London. It stands on the Thames. It is interesting to know that the Tower of London was a prison in the early days of the history of England.

Piccadilly Circus is a very busy place. People come to the shops in the day time, and at night they come for a night out. London is packed with interest and it is all of colour.
