Цель урока: обобщить знания по теме “Времена года”.

Задачи урока:

1. Практиковать учащихся в устной речи (диалогической, монологической).
2. Развивать коммуникативные умения и навыки, навыки аудирования, логического мышления, внимания, памяти.
3. Воспитывать чувство любви и бережного отношения к природе.

T. : - What is the date today?

P. : - Today is the 24-th of October.

T. : - What day comes after Thusday?

P. : - Friday comes.

T. : - Is anybody absent?

T. : - Now, children! Listen to the poem.

Autumn is yellow
Winter is white
Spring is green
Summer is bright”

What is this poem about?

P. : - About seasons.

T. : - You are right.

So, today we shall speak about …..

P. : - Seasons.

T. : - The theme of our lesson is “seasons”.

T. : Let’s check up your home work. (ex. 9 – p.75)

What season is it now?

P. : - It is autumn.

T. : - Thanks. How many seasons are there in a year?

P. : - There are 4 seasons.

T. : - What are they?

P. : - They are: autumn, winter, spring, summer.

T. : - What season comes after autumn?

P. : - Winter comes.

T. : - Thank you. How many months are there in a year?

P. : - There are 3 months in each season.

T. : - What is the coldest season?

P. : - Winter is the coldest season.

T. : - What is the hottest season?

P. : - Summer is the hottest season.

T. : - When is it slippery?

P. : - It is slippery in winter.

T. : - Does it often rain in winter?

P. : - No, it doesn’t.

T. : - When does it often rain?

P. : - In autumn.

T. : - Who knows any poem about seasons?

P. : - I know!

“It’s fun and hot. We swim and play.
The weather is fine. Rain go away.”

P. : - I know!

“This is the season, when fruit is sweet.
This is the season, when school friends meet.”

T. : - Who wants to go to the blackboard and ask questions about all seasons?

P1. : - Is it winter or spring?

P2. : - It’s winter.

T. : - And now I would like you to describe seasons. Look at the pictures and describe them.

T. : - Thank you. I like your description. And now let’s do the following.

Звучит музыка Чайковского “Времена Года”, “Октябрь”.

T. : - Fine children! And now you will listen to the texts.

The 1st text: “It is a good season. It comes after spring. There are many sunny days in it The trees are green. We go to swim. It is hot and bright. The days are long. The weather is often nice.”

The 2nd text: “This season comes after winter. Birds come back. We can see new green leaves. It is warm. Sometimes it rains. Children can ride a bike, play games.

The 3rd text: “It is a cold season. There is much snow everywhere. Children can play snowballs, make snowmen. It is frosty and snowy and slippery. The nights are short. We can skate and ski”

The 4th text: “It is a dull season. It often rains and windy. It is cloudy. The sky is grey. It is cool. The leaves fall down from the trees.”

The 5th text: “It is a gold season. It is cool but sunny. The temperature is 14 degrees above zero. People like to go to the forest. The leaves are yellow red and brown. There are many vegetables and fruits. Children go to school on the 1st of September.”
