Тема урока: «Семья».

В процессе работы над темой «Моя семья» в 5 классе по учебнику «Английский язык» Кузовлева В.П. вместе с учащимися выделили проблему: «За что я люблю семью?» Затем определили формы проекта, и каждый ученик выбрал ту, которая ему была ближе.

Цели урока:

  •  Осуществить контроль умения учащихся делать монологическое высказывание в связи с изученным материалом.
  •  Проверить умение учащихся вести диалог-расспрос.
  •  Воспитывать уважительное, бережное отношение к семье, её традициям и реликвиям.

Оснащение урока: магнитофон, кассета с записями музыки, раздаточный материал.

Оформление доски: «семейное дерево» и некоторые проекты учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Вступительное слово учителя.

Учитель сообщает тему урока и знакомит учащихся с «экспертами» - учениками старших классов.
Dear boys and girls! Today we are going to talk about your families. You’ve prepared projects for our lesson. Now you will show your projects and speak about them. Let me introduce some experts. They will listen to your projects and give you marks for them.

II. Повторение лексики.

Идет повторение лексики с размещением рисунков членов семьи на «семейном дереве» на доске.
Teacher (T): Let’s repeat some words! Answer my questions, please. Who is the person?
T: Your mother’s mother is…
Pupil (P1): my grandmother.
T: Your mother’s father is…
P2: my grandfather.
T: Your grandmother’s daughter is…
P3: my mother.
T: Your mother’s husband is…
P4: my father.
T: Your mother and father are…
P5: my parents.
T: Your mother’s and father’s children are…
P6: sons and daughters.
T: Your mother’s sister is…
P7: my aunt.
T: Your aunt’s husband is…
P8: my uncle.
Your aunt’s and uncle’s children are…
P9: my cousins.
T: Your aunts, uncles, cousins are…
P10: my relatives.
Учитель (показывая  рисунки семьи на «семейном дереве): So this is a family. Let’s recollect the poem about the family.

I’ve got a mother,
I’ve got a father,
I’ve got a brother Paul.
I’ve got a sister,
I’ve got a granny.
Oh, how I love them all!

III. Защита проектов.

T: I know that one of you has prepared a family tree. Masha, come here, please, show us your family tree and tell us about it! (приложение №1)
Ученица рассказывает о своей семье и показывает «семейное дерево». «Эксперты» задают ей дополнительные вопросы о семье.
T: Look at this beautiful newspaper “A friendly family”. It is made by Lyuba. Let’s listen to her. (приложение №1)
Следует рассказ ученицы о членах своей семьи и вопросы «экспертов».
T: Now we’ll talk about your parents’ professions. Sometimes we choose the professions of our parents. Then we talk about a dynasty. Let’s take Katya’s family as an example. Look through the pages of her album. ( приложение №1)
Ученица показывает свой альбом и рассказывает о профессии мамы и бабушки.
T: Boys and girls! We are in a portrait gallery now. Here you can see some portraits of your relatives. These are the portraits of Anya’s father and Alya`s mother. Girls, tell us about these portraits!
Ученицы рассказывают об отце и матери, показывая их фотографии на доске.
T: Children, let’s sing a song about a mother.
Дети поют песню о маме.

My dear, dear mother,
I love you very much.
I want you to be happy
On the day of March!
Be happy, be happy
On the day of March!

T: Children! I have also prepared some portraits of your relatives. Let’s play! Guess who these persons are.
Ученики отгадывают, чьи портреты нарисовал учитель.
P1: Is it a man or a woman?
T: It’s a man.
P2: Is it a father or a grandfather?
T: It’s a father.
P3: Is it Olya’s father?
T: No, it isn’t.
P4: Is it Sasha’s father?
T: Yes, it is.
T: Let’s work in pairs with the dialogues. (приложение №2)
Учащиеся работают в парах, выполняя задания по карточкам, составляя диалог.

Например:

  •  Have you got a sister?
  •  Yes, I’ve got a sister.
  •  How is your sister?
  •  She is fine, thanks!

T: Now we’ll listen to one more dialogue about the family.

Следующая пара учащихся воспроизводит подготовленный диалог.

P1: Hi!
P2: Hallo!
P1: How is your family?
P2: Fine, thanks!
P1: Is your family large?
P2: No, there are only three people in our family: a mother, a father and me. What about your family?
P1: My family is small. I’ve got a mother and a father.
P2: Have you got a sister or a brother?
P1: No, I have got only cousins. And you?
P2: I’ve got an elder sister. She doesn’t live with us.
P1: Where does she live?
P2: She lives in St. Petersburg.
P1: Super! How is your sister?
P2: She is fine, thanks!
P1: Will you go to your sister in summer?
P2: I’d like to go there!
T: Another project is a role play “Father is busy”.
Группа учащихся показывают сценку.
Ann: Dad, can you help me with English?
Father (cидя перед телевизором, читает газету): I have no time, dear! Ask your mother!
Ann: Mum, can you help me with English?
Mother: Now, I can’t. You see, I’m sewing. I must finish my work!
Ann: All right! But I can’t get a bad mark for English!
Mother: Why don’t you ask father?!
Ann: He says he is busy!
Mother: What is he doing? Let me see!
Отец сидит в кресле перед телевизором и спит.
Ann: Mum, he is sleeping!
Mother: Daughter, be quiet! Don’t wake up father! He is so tired!
T: Children, pay attention to this beautiful newspaper. It is made by Valya. She will tell you about her family holidays and traditions.
T (после рассказа ученицы): Boys and girls! Valya invites you to her birthday party. Let’s sing her a song!

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday, dear Valya,
Happy birthday to you!

T: Now let’s dance!

Физкультминутка проходит в форме танца.

T: We get used to different advertisements in our life. Let’s listen to some of them!
Двое учащихся рассказывают о своей семье в форме рекламы.
T: One more project is made by Nastya. She has made a collage “Family hobbies”.
Ученица демонстрирует коллаж и рассказывает о своей семье. (приложение №1)
T: Each family keeps its traditions and relic. Let’s listen to Olya’s story about her “Grandmother’s chest”.
Учитель тоже может рассказать о реликвиях своей семьи.

IV. Заключительный этап урока.

T (делая вывод): Boys and girls! A family is very important in the life of people. It’s our support in all difficult situations. I am glad that all of you love your relatives very much. All your projects have shown it. Don’t forget to help all members of your family and they will do the same. Then your family will be happy! I wish it with all my heart!
Заключительное слово «экспертов».

  • Boys and girls! We are happy to be here! Your stories about your families were so interesting!
  • We liked your projects! You have worked hard at them! You get such marks for your projects… (приложение №2)

Примерное содержание некоторых проектов учащихся

My Family Tree

This is my family tree. These are my grandparents. They live in our village. My grandmother’s name is … . My grandfather’s name is … . They are pensioners. These are my mother and father. My mother’s name is … . She is a social worker. My father’s name is … . He is a farmer. These are my aunt and uncle. They live in Kurgan. They often visit us. My family is friendly. I love my family.

A Friendly Family

This is my family. It is not large but it is friendly. There are four of us in the family. I have got a mother, a father and a sister Alyona. We like to spend time together. We love to read books and watch TV. We always help each other. When my mother cleans the house Alyona and I help her. We have duties at home. I often wash the dishes and my sister sweeps the floor. I love my family a lot!

A Family Dynasty

Let me introduce my grandmother. Her name is… . My grandmother is a teacher of the 2nd form at school. She teaches small children. My grandmother is a good teacher. She loves her work. This is my mother. Her name is … . My mother is a nursery teacher. She works in the kindergarten. She loves her work. As for me I don’t know yet what profession to choose. But I like the profession of a teacher. I like to organize parties at school. Maybe I will become a teacher too.

Family Holidays

Our family has its traditions. We love holidays. We celebrate the New Year’s Day, Mother’s Day and the Christmas. My favourite holiday is my birthday. It is on the 5th of April. My mum prepares holiday dinner on this day. She cooks a big cake and buys sweets and fruit. I invite my friends to my birthday party. My friends bring presents for me. We eat, play games and dance to the music. I like my birthday a lot!
