  • развивать умение использовать ЛЕ в собственных мини-высказываниях на уровне одного предложения;
  • извлекать из текста необходимую информацию;
  • высказывать предположение, прогнозировать;
  • опровергать утверждения или соглашаться с ними;
  • подбирать заголовки к различным частям текста.

воспитательные:

  • развивать у учащихся самостоятельное мышление;

  • Sit down, children.Today we continue to discuss our topic “Natural disaster” and we shall read the text about tornado.

Pre-reading activities

Work in pairs.You are going to read a text about the tornado.Before you start reading discuss with your partner what you know about natural disasters.Try to explain what a tornado is, using my presintation (Приложение 1) and language support which is written on the blackboard.
