Цели урока:

образовательная формирование навыков использования изученной лексики в речи;

воспитательная – формирование позитивно-ориентированной личности;

развивающая – развитие речевых способностей (фонематического слуха), психических функций, связанных с речевой деятельностью (речевого мышления, внимания, воображения), способность к общению, развитие мотивации к дальнейшему овладению иноязычной культурой.

Оснащение урока:

- компьютер; интерактивная доска;

- картинки с изображением животных;

- карточки с названиями животных.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент:

- Hello, boys and girls. Glad to meet you here in the lesson. How are you getting on?

- Hello, teacher! We are glad to see you, too. We are all right. And how are you?

2.Сообщение темы урока и его задач.

- Look at the blackboard. There are some pictures here. Call them, please.

It’s a dog ….

- Good. What is the theme of the lesson? What do we talk about?

- The subject of our lesson is: “Animal world of Kamchatka” and today we are going to talk about wild species. As you know Kamchatka animal kingdom is very rich. From the snowy mountain tops to the seacoast the territory of Kamchatka is settled with different animals. Today we are going to get some more information about them.

3. Изучение новых знаний, необходимых для формирования умений.

- Now look at the blackboard. There are some names of different kinds of animals. Let`s write them down in your copy-books.

- You have sheets of paper on your tables. Let`s read the text about Kamchatka animals.

Kamchatka animal kingdom

Kamchatka animal kingdom is close to that of taiga. But on the whole the fauna of the peninsular is typical of island. Of course, the peculiarities of Kamchatka animal kingdom are connected with its geographical situation, climate, unusual landscapes and the history of settling. From the snowy mountain tops to the seacoast the territory of Kamchatka is settled with different animals such as Brown Bear, Red Fox, Arctic Fox, Hare, Sable, Mink, Wolf, Lynx, Elk, Reindeer, Snow Sheep, Otter, and others.

Among the largest beasts of prey brown bear is the most famous. One can meet it on seashore, in the forest, in tundra and on a bank of a river. A bear eats fish, berries and various roots. Sometimes it attracts wild and domestic animals.

Wolf, fox are also beasts of prey. But the number of their population depends of the availability of food fish, hares and mice.

A very rare fur beast of prey is lynx. It came from the South.

You can find two kinds of otter: the river-otter which lives only in the fresh water and the sea-otter which inhabits all the seashore of the Pacific Ocean.

Among the sea mammals are Seal, Fur Seal, Sea-lion, and Sea Otter. There are different kinds of dolphins, and occasionally, whales.

- Now look at the text again and answer my questions:

  • What kinds of Kamchatka animals can you name?
  • What animal is the most famous? Why?
  • Where can you meet brown bear?
  • Is the population of wolf and fox stable?
  • Where is Kamchatka lynx from?
  • How many kinds of otter do you know? Can you name them?

5. Физкультминутка.

- Good of you! I think you are get tired. Let’s have a rest for our eyes, for our hands.

Wink, wink, wink your eyes,
Wink your eyes together.
Wink, wink, wink your eyes,
Wink your eyes together.

I think the animals are always very active. Let’s move a little bit. Please, stand up.

Do the actions:
Jump like a hare!
Climb like a monkey!
Go like a bear!
Swim like a frog!
Fly like a bird!

6. Творческое применение знаний и умений.

- During our lesson we`ve known a lot about Kamchatka fauna. Every kind of animal has its own peculiarities. Your homework was to make cards with some adjectives which help you to describe them.

- Now I want you to play a game. I`ll give you a card with a name of animal. Try to find as many adjectives to describe it as you can and make some sentences. You`ll have two minutes.

- Start, please.

На доске расположены картинки с видами животных. Учащиеся по очереди выходят к доске и прикрепляют карточки с прилагательными к картинкам и озвучивают свои предложения.

- Well done.

- Ребята, все вы знаете, что многие камчатские животные являются редкими видами, они проживают на охраняемых территориях и занесены в Красную книгу Камчатки и России. Это такие животные как бурый медведь (Brown Bear), снежный баран (Snow Sheep), дикий северный олень (Wild Reindeer), соболь (Sable). Только от жителей Камчатки зависит, смогут ли эти виды животных существовать дальше или исчезнут в ближайшем будущем.

- Look at the blackboard, there are some word combinations, try to make sentences and answer my question: What must we do to save the rare animals of Kamchatka? Maybe you can make your own sentences.

  • To make a preserve.
  • To kill the rare animals.
  • To be a volunteer and help workers of the preserves.
  • To make a donations.
  • To give a talk about rare animals with people.

7. Домашнее задание.

- Our lesson is over. Your homework will be to make projects about rare Kamchatka animals.
